The most scenic walk – Cinque Terre Hike

I signed up for a one day hike through Cinque Terre – a spectacular coastal view. Five unspoiled fishing villages — Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, Monterosso and Riomaggiore — that form the national park.

We began our hike from Manarola.

And stopped at Corniglia for food before continuing our hiking to Vernazza

The charm of the region is that it is natural and untouched, so there are no safety rails and paths often cut close to the cliff edge.

After an hour and a half of hiking I reward myself with a nice mango gelato. Yumz…

From Vernazza we took a train to Monterosso, a village known for its beach and artisanal shops.

I really enjoy this day trip. It was well organized and we had enough time to explore each village. Seriously, I don’t mind doing it again.
